mhop creative are a web design and development business based in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Now in their fifth year year of operation mhop have gained experience working with clients large and small.
About Michael Hopcroft
When working with mhop you will benefit from the skills and experience of Michael Hopcroft. Michael founded mhop in the summer 2004 after graduating with BSc Hons in Computing Science (Glasgow University), and being awarded a web-development scholarship from Scottish Museums Council.
While continuing to forefront mhop over the years, Michael has also gained experience from working "inhouse" at prominant London-based companies. Throughout 2006 and 2007 he was Online User Experience Designer at the UKs largest Gift Experience Company: Red Letter Days. There he oversaw a highly succesful redesign of the company's ecommerce website. He also spearheaded a number of design iterations that increased conversion rates by 75%. Michael also created a number of bespoke staff incentive solutions for Red Letter Days corporate clients (e.g. IBM, Orange, GCap).
In 2008 Michael also worked in the "Strategy" division at Reading Room, one of the UK's leading digital agencies. There he worked with some of the world's top brands and institutions, including Porsche, Nokia, Royal Mail and the UK Parliament.
